Hi, I'm an Art Director, my name is Martino; or Martin, like used to call me my Dad, waking me up during college time in Morbegno, the alp's heart… woods, fresh air, cheese, ski, triple ale beer and red wines. From 2007 to 2009 I was Martin even for my schoolmates at IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Milan. From 2008 to 2012 I become "Mr. Martin" talking about Philosophy of Aesthetic with my friends between one course and an other in Università degli Studi Milano - Bicocca…
I used to be Martin even during my internship period at Rounder Records, in Boston (MA), where I worked in the Art Department as Graphic Designer. Oh yes, I was Martin in Haschette - Rusconi too; there, I took part in a project as Art Director for design a 30 pages special issue for Riders. Even my thesis students in IED, used to call me Martin. I was their tutor. And I've been Martin in every movie set I worked as Runner. Now for my students I'm Professor Martin: I try to tech them the powerful creativity of cultural anthropology.
When I don't work with logos, graphics, web design stuff and the concept of "Holy Imaginary" in Tarkovski's movies, you can find me taking some pictures on my beautiful mountains; or kitesurfing in the lake; or playing rugby; or spending all my savings in a music shop; or riding my self-made bike; or in a train, with a backpack and a book in my pocket.
